Perilous Times

“See that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come, but the end is not yet.” Matthew 24:6

While this article was written during the 2008 financial crisis, it offers truth for any season in life; encouraging us as believers to stand on these 3 basic principles.

1) Stay in faith

2) Do not fear

3) Keep on giving

Contend for Pentecostal Fire

“For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost.” Thessalonians 1:5

Pentecostal power is given to us so that we may proclaim the Gospel of Jesus to the lost. When the Gospel of Jesus is preached in the power and the anointing of the Holy Spirit, signs, wonders, and miracles inevitably follow.

This is God’s order of things. This is the way it is supposed to be; the Gospel preached with power. Nothing less than that should be acceptable to the child of God!

We Are Blessed to be a Blessing

God wants to put wealth in the hands of His people in order to fulfill His purposes upon this earth. The key is that we look at ourselves not as owners, but as stewards of God’s wealth.

As I can see in the scriptures, there are Three Purposes of Financial Prosperity which we will take a look at together with Three Scriptural Keys to Financial Prosperity.

1) Godliness

2) Hard Work

3) Giving: According to the Word, the Spirit, and by living generously

What a way to live, right in the chain of God’s provision and blessings!

This Is the Time!

A challenging reminder, written in 2009 during the economic downturn, that the riches of this world are fleeting and uncertain.

The Apostle Paul said, “Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God…” I Timothy 6:17

Riches can be here today and gone tomorrow. The Living God is the only place we can securely put our trust - the Steadfast One whose WORD is solid and sure.

Faith That Flows From Grace

God has decreed in His Word, “Now the just shall live by faith…” Hebrews 10:38

This exhortation tells us that we, who belong to Jesus, should not merely act in faith when the need for faith arises, but that we should live our lives immersed in faith. Living a life of Faith is one of the very foundations of the Christian life.

Our faith rests upon and flows from that which the Lord Jesus did for us upon the Cross of Calvary, and upon the Written Word of God.  Upon the Cross the Lord Jesus bore upon Himself our sins, our diseases, and the curses that were upon our lives so that we may be righteous, healed, free, and blessed.

Only by faith we can take possession of the things which Jesus has purchased for us at the Cross.
